We strongly recommend that you back up all of your data before sending your laptop in. While we are very careful in handling your computer, there is always an inherent risk of data loss. In short, we do our best to keep your data safe, but we cannot be held responsible in the event of data loss. Please note that there is a $50 base fee for laptops we receive. This enables us to provide you with a padded laptop box, free bi-directional shipping, and the diagnostics on your computer. The $50 base fee is waived when a repair is done. For instance, a backlight repair is still a flat $150.
